I come from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world… Clearwater Beach, and I still find
Panama City Beach one of the best locations there is for what we do! The white sand, clear blue-green water, ‘the attractive scenery’ and the fact that the racers love it, just adds to the positive energy of a great PWC racing weekend!
It was good to do some closed course racing, and the competition was thick this weekend. The starting lines were a who’s who of watercraft racing; however the main highlight for me was watching Chris MacClugage put on an absolute riding clinic moto after moto and win two different classes! I was amazed by how smooth, fast and effortless he made it look. Now I see why they call him the G.O.A.T. … I have so much to learn!
As for my racing and finishes, mechanical gremlins were my constant companions for the weekend! Now, I must scramble to repair and prep to put my Blacktip Jetsports, WatercraftSuperstore, Exotic Signs, RIVA FZR on a podium in race #3, Pensacola Beach!
